Pretty Profanity: making swear words beautiful in cross stitch.

This listing is for a collection of 19 "words and phrases in the Aussie style" - so yes, plenty of swear words! A list of those included is provided in the photos at the bottom.

Design:

Only full cross stitches are used. Backstitching is optional, depending on your choice of floss and/or fabric colours.

There are no colours suggested in the patterns. They are designed in DMC 310 only, with the assumption that the stitcher will pick their own colour(s).

Recommended Fabric:

Patterns were designed on 14 count Aida. But stitch it on anything you want, really. Go for it!

The resulting size of each word/phrase will change depending on the count of fabric, but all are designed to be relatively small. None are wider than 90 stitches.

My examples are stitched on hand dyed 18 count Aida, and 32 count Evenweave, using various variegated flosses.
